R/ The Roman road was the model of the road used by Rome for the structuring of its Empire. In the economic aspect, it played a fundamental role, since the transport of goods was remarkably rationalized. Roads also had a great influence on the spread of the new culture and on the spread of Romanization throughout the Empire.
